Channeling the timeless glamour, this late 50’s – early 60’s Maggy Rouff haute couture cocktail dress is infinitely flattering from every angle. Cut from black silk and tulle in a fitted silhouette, it turns to reveal an attractive, though elegant open back (see picture 5). There are so many details we love about this dress, from the boat neckline, to the nipped-in waist and of course, the refined flower pattern of the tulle, which is embroidered with light-catching black sequins and beads (see picture 10). Fully lined, this piece fastens with a concealed zip, hook and eye at the center back. For extra sparkle, wear it with a shimmery eyeshadow !
