This rare armchair is the result of a strongly desired experimentation of Italian design in interior furnishings, carried out by the furniture manufacturer Mario Sabot in the 60s and 70s.
Two Pod specimens were chosen for the iconic Palais Bulles summer residence by Pierre Cardin, today among the most important historic buildings in the French Ministry of Culture.
Very good condition, small signs of time, vintage patina.
