Vintage Design
The PK-80 Daybed is the embodiment of Poul Kjærholm’s talent to refine historical models and distill the design except for the essentials. The daily lounger is inspired by a couch that was designed by Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich in 1930. Today it can be found in the Museum of Modern Art and all over the world as a celebrated illustration of the crafts and modern design. It dates from the 1980s and comes in the beautiful version with a fireplace reddish mattress.
