Antique Swedish sofa bench in gustavian style. The sofa is a genuine country house furniture from northern Sweden made around 1820 to 1840. The frame is made in solid pine and it has old historic paint from the late 1800s. The first yellow paint shines through in places where the blue paint is distressed. The sofa is in good condition with a healthy and stable frame and is fully usable. The paint has a unique rustic character with distress as well as marks and patina after 150 years of use. There is also a storage space underneath the seat.
