Vintage Design
Ettore Sottsass set of 2 cocktail/dining chairs for Poltronova, Italy, in the 1970s. A simplistic yet very strong design in lines and proportions. Wonderful solid teak wooden frame, which runs over into the big-size armrests for maximum comfort. The black upholstery makes a beautiful combination with the red-brown wood. Aluminum elements on the back emphasize the tight and modern expression of the chairs. Specially made for the Montecatini hotel in Italy in the 1960s. We reupholstered them in a black bouclé by Bisson Bruneel.
