Vintage Design
Early ‘Egg’ armchair designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen, Denmark 1958. This piece features the original black leather upholstery and the first edition alumium base. Arne Jacobsen designed and built the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen and also designed much of the furniture and lighting, including these chairs. Our example has a soft overall patina and remains in a very good well presented condition. Collector’s item.
