Vintage Design
The chair consists of two structurally emphasized armrest-leg elements and a seat-backrest unit made of bent plywood. The simplicity of the construction elements transports the essentially well thought-out design in an excellent way. This chair has everything it needs and nothing it doesn’t. The contrast of the clearly constructed side parts to the organically curved seat unit gives this chair the classic beauty that distinguishes excellent design.
The chair is “spacious” and comfortable, light and even stackable. The chair is still produced by Artek Helsinki today.
Has signs of usage. The back of this chair has a thicker patina. There are old, closed holes, a small break on the right back. The age patina is completely unrestored, intact and authentic. Designed for the Paimo sanatorium. The chair can be used.
