Vintage Design
This set of four chairs, model 1235, designed by André Cordemeyer for Gispen in the 1960s, showcases timeless Dutch design. Each chair features a sturdy steel frame, upholstered in brown wool fabric, with distinctive black “sock” feet and black Bakelite armrests, exemplifying the minimalist aesthetic of the era.
These chairs are in very good vintage condition, with minor signs of wear consistent with their age. One chair has a few barely visible small spots on the seat and some fabric damage on the backrest (see the last 2 photos for details).
