Contemporary Design
Founded by Ruben de la Rive Box and Golnar Roshan, Rive Roshan is a London- and Amsterdam-based design studio that uses experimental approaches and materials to create tactile, flexible, and engaging products for a mobile generation.
For the Sediment Object collection, Rive Roshan found inspiration in natures “additive” process of creating sedimentary rocks. Offcuts and found remnants of wood are layered in a mold, and the empty spaces between the wood fragments are filled with a mixture of pigmented plaster and acrylic resin. Once dry, the result is a complete and sturdy table with a one-of-kind, organically patterned surface.
This piece includes the option of an artist’s proof.
